Jamie joined our project as Narrative Designer for its final year of production. We’d pretty much neglected the narrative up until this point, and Jamie did a great job of coming up with something that pulled all the disparate missions and mechanics together into a cohesive whole. The result was a big improvement to the overall feel of the game. He worked well with feedback, never being precious about ideas & understood the limitations we were working within, adapting the narrative elements as required. I would definitely work with Jamie again, should the opportunity arise, he was a great member of the team.

Jamie's been an amazing addition to the team who has hit the ground running at one of the busiest times a project can be in. He's quickly built a rapport with everyone on the team and cooperates easily with anyone from any discipline, including the creation and implementation of VO-systems, visual representation of mission briefings and integrating the gameplay into the narrative. This project, like many others, was not set up with any form of narrative in mind, but he was able to use the gameplay experiences that were there and amplify them to a point where you would never believe it wasn't part of the game from the start. He's made a great impact in a short time and I can't wait to see what he does next!
JEREMIAH COSTELLO, CREATIVE DIRECTOR, GAMMA MINUS
Before Jamie joined the project we were in a tight spot. Our Lead Narrative Designer had just left and we were left with a very rough framework for the story. He diligently read through everything, made a solid plan of action and not only managed to salvage what we had, but he ended up exceeding our expectations in regards to the initial design. However, probably the most endearing trait of his, is his willingness to take ownership of his creation. Even though Jamie worked on a contractual basis, he never gave us the feeling that he was doing us a favor. He was 100% committed to making the game shine, and wasn't coy about putting his signature on it. Can't wait to hire him again for the sequel!

Jamie helped us at a very early stage in our project “Warfronts: Battle for Toria”. With his help we were able to lay the foundations for all of the game’s lore and universe, which was used to create the characters, areas and factions in the game.
I have to say that hiring Jamie was one the best decisions we made for the project, especially in the early stages. The artwork and many of the game feature designs were inspired by Jamie’s work, making those tasks considerably easier to complete.
I’ve worked with multiple writers and narrative designers before but Jamie truly stood out, from devising creative solutions to specific features that did not fit the narrative, as well taking all of our feedback to heart and fully understanding our situation and goals.
The best thing a project manager can find in an external contractor is being proactive and going beyond the contract’s boundaries to improve the product, and Jamie was constantly doing this to ensure that the end result came out as close to perfect as possible.

From day one, Jamie fitted right within our small team, he came up with several aspects that built the structure of our idea and ultimately brought life to our game. Throughout our current and previous projects, we worked with several freelancers, especially creative writers, and Jamie shined with his knowledge, expertise, and enthusiasm.
Jamie to us and our project is not just a creative writer, he was and will always be a pillar within our team, he played several roles that eventually evolved our game.
